Jurors Statement

Thank you members of the Galveston Art League for allowing me the honor of jurying and judging your Fall 2011 Juried Show. What a difficult task to select just a few from the tremendous number of quality works submitted for jurying! Even harder was to choose the honors of award winners!

I have judged many shows and never before have I seen such a spectacular and varied group of works in a regional show. Please commend yourselves for having attracted so many great artists to your league.

It was a pleasure to serve the Galveston Art League and it's members. I would also like to thank Mr. Roy Clough, Show Chair, for his graciousness and hospitality extended during the jurying and judging process.
