Call for Artists
If you are able to create .jpg images of your art and/or jewelry: Put the image on a CD or flash/thumb drive and bring it to changeover. The best way is to email your images to Fontaine Jacobs. For questions call 832 474-2882 If you are not able to submit your own .jpg, your images will be shot for you. Member submitted pictures should be 500 pixels wide, 72dpi and named as follows: ArtArtistfirstname Lastname Title of Work.jpg For Example Fontaine Jacobs Rose.jpg Jewelry The Jewelry items should be shot as a group or sampling and be named: Artistfirstname Lastname Assorted Jewlery.jpg Label the CD or flash/thumb drive with the artist's name and phone #. CD's are non-returnable, and thumb drives will be returned to the GAL gallery after the online gallery is complete. Images –jpgs that are 500 pixels wide at 72 dpi would be ideal. Specifics for sizing your art:  Two spaces Measure the horizontal and vertical size, if these 2 numbers are greater than 70 inches, the art will occupy two spaces. Said another way, measure the entire circumference of your work, if that number is greater than 140 inches, the art will occupy two spaces. 
Additional Call for Entries Art Expo It is with great pleasure that Space City Con 2012 announces a combination art show and contest, the "Art Expo". We would like to issue an invitation for all artists to join us and show off your craft, competing for prizes! This will be a juried show with our art professional Guests as judges, and contest awards of $1000, $500, and $250 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placing, respectively. Click here for more information |
