"Plein Air Landscapes in Oil" by Randall Cogburn:

"How to Paint Portraits" by Eddie Filer:
Date: Saturday, October 25, 2014.
Time: 9:30 am-12:30 pm

This oil/acrylic workshop will include a demo and participation for 8 to 12 participants.  The fee for this workshop is $30 paid to the Galveston Art League.

"Construct Traditional Taiguruma, Japanese Fish Cart Lanterns" by visitors from Japan:
Date: Mon-Thurs, November 10-13
Time: 9 am-4 pm on Mon-Tues,  9 am-12 pm on Wed
Place: GAL Gallery 
Fee: $25 fee, paid in advance by November 1.
This two and a-half day workshop to construct traditional Taiguruma, Japanese Fish Cart Lanterns, made of bamboo and rice paper colored with wax and watercolor will be limited to the first 10 persons who sign up through the Evite or by emailing Billie Rinaldi at bjrinald@comcast.net.

Materials and supplies are provided.










*Note:  Fees are generally $25-$30  for a half day and $40-$60 for a whole day depending on the number of hours and materials provided.  Fees are paid to GAL
